When I was preparing for my year as District Governor, my wife, Sharon, asked me what my vision was for the year. When the year began, it hadn’t fully formed.

I want every Rotarian in our District to have a greater awareness of all that our great organization is, understand how they can serve, and be able to tell a story about how Rotary helped them change the life of someone else, and in the process, changed their own life.
I’m realistic to know that for now some will prefer to sit on the sidelines and watch others do Rotary’s work. My hope is that with time, they will become inspired, act, help others, and be able to tell their stories too.
